Why not come to Terang early and relax before the Festival? As venue space is only available for the Festival, The TCMF Committee has arranged availability for you to be able to stay at the Terang Recreation Reserve in the days leading up to the Festival and afterwards also should you choose.

Terang has great culinary options available to fill the tummy, from the Wheatsheaf Hotel for a delicious dinner, to the Little Acorn for great coffee and delicious treats to the Terang Hotel or “The Middle” as it is affectionately known, for a good old town country pub meal to Latte on High for delicious tidbits and drinks and the new Terang Bakery for their renowned pies and pastries .  The newly renovated Mt Noorat Hotel, just out of town, is also a delightful retreat for a quiet dinner. Customer service in Terang is something that you will always remember.

Day 1: Timboon and 12 Apostles Gourmet food tour
This drive will take you past the world renowned 12 Apostles, see if you can find all 12! The tour takes in fine food, lush dairy countryside and the spectacular coastline south of Terang.  Why not stop by the Timboon Distilleryor the Fat Cow Food Co. for lunch, and sample the delicious selection on offer, an experience not to be missed.  Take a look at this link for the details.

Day 2: Camperdown Lakes and Craters tour
The area around Camperdown is dotted with memories of our turbulent past. The countryside is beautiful and lakes abound, be they natural water reserves or water accumulation in the craters left from volcanic activity in the area. Lunch at Maddens Commercial Hotel in Camperdown will not disappoint and the views of the district from Mt Elephant are spectacular.



Day 3: Warrnambool and District
This really is something to experience for a week or more as it the whole area. Call by Cheeseworld in Allansford as you head west to explore.  Don’t forget Tower Hill at Koroit for another amazing extinct volcano experience and watch out for the emu’s and coming back through Warrnambool stop in at Flagstaff Hill and immerse yourself in the early discovery and life in the Western District of Victoria.
